choosing your photographer illustrationchoosing your photographer illustration I have written quite a few documents on choosing your wedding photographer all in depth and though through, but after reading a them back I just that's not what a couple really needs.  You are busy people with stuff to do like PLAN A WEDDING!!! EEEK and so I bring you the quick guide.  No underlying sales or pick me strategy.  This is just simply The Quick Guide and I do mean quick.

  1. Decide on your budget for your whole wedding.

  2. Decide what aspects of the day are important to you, because that is where you should spend your money. If it isn't photography, I won't be offended, but you may want to pick someone else because your photography is important to me.

  3. Assign an amount of your budget to your photography. (As a guide photography seems to range from free  to £3000)

  4. Pick three photographers work you like, who are  around your budget and meet them.

  5. Decide which one you trust and like and is the best fit for you and your wedding.

  6. Do your research and then if you are happy book them.

Ok, so obviously there is a lot more you could do, and should do, when thinking about your photography for the day.  Just do me one little favour whoever you chose, make sure they have public liability and professional indemnity insurance and that you get yourselves wedding insurance too.

Whew that might not have been comprehensive but it was pretty quick!

Here is my very handy infographic to help you out.
