Jenny Martin Photography | FAQ'S

Do you recommend a pre-wedding portrait shoot?

Yes, pre-wedding shoots are a great way to capture some lovely photos of you both in a more relaxed setting than you wedding. At the same time you are getting practise at being photographs and we getting to know each other better.  I can look at your angles and use that knowledge on your wedding day to capture the real you.  You will also realise that it is all a bit of fun and even though you may hate having your picture taken (we all do) you will love the results!!

Who will photograph my wedding?

That would be me unless you have sensibly booked two photographers in which case it will still be me (no getting away from me on this one) and another professional photographer in my team who has worked with me on many different occasions and is also fully insured.

Can we meet to discuss our day?

Yes I offer free no pressure consultations so that you can visit me at my home/studio (best to know where your photographers live) where we can have a chat about your day and you can view some of my weddings.  Also nice cup of tea or coffee if you fancy.

How do we book you and how much is the booking fee (otherwise known as a deposit)

To secure your wedding date I will fill out your booking form and contract which you need to check and return to me and then pay your booking fee of just £100 - your date then goes from pencilled in to secured.  I am sorry but I cannot hold dates without receiving your booking fee.

How long until we can view our images on-line?

I work hard to make sure your photos are ready for viewing as soon as possible, but I also want to make sure they are beautifully processed. This takes time but I aim to have your images on-line within four weeks of your wedding date.  They are often much quicker depending on work load.

How long  until I receive my album?

Once you are happy with the design and photo selection your album is sent to Italy to be bound and printed this usually takes between four and six weeks.

Are you insured?

Oh yes! I have public liability and professional indemnity.  Also any equipment which needs plugging in at your venue has been fully PAT tested.  I also suggest that couples get their own wedding insurance.  It costs around £30 and really does help cover all your bases.  You spend so much on your wedding it is worth it for the piece of mind.
